Air Marshal Sukhchain Singh AVSM VSM is a persuasive and determined leader with over 37 years of distinguished service in the Indian Air Force. He has been Air Officer-in-charge Maintenance who is Principal Staff Officer to Chief of the Air Staff on techno-logistics matters of IAF. He has been a vital part in Policy formulation for maintenance and logistics issues of IAF including acquisition and maintenance of aircraft, radars, Guided Weapons, Mechanical Transport Vehicles.
Furthermore, he has also been Senior Maintenance Staff Officer of Maintenance Command and has been responsible for repair & maintenance of Aircraft, Systems, Guided Weapons, Avionics etc through Base Repair Depots of IAF. Also, he has been responsible for maintenance of aircraft & systems deployed in Operational Command.
Air Marshal Sukhchain Singh AVSM VSM has been the Chief Engineering Officer of Operational IAF base responsible for maintenance and supply chain management of fighter aircraft, helicopters, radar & communication assets. Also, he has technical expertise in fighter aircraft and surface to air guided weapons.
