Aerospace & Defence MRO South Asia Summit

Mumbai, India, January 4, 2017: Aerospace & Defence MRO South Asia Summit is taking place in a few days on 18-19, January2018 at Hotel Taj Mahal, Mansingh Road, New Delhi. The two-day Summit, themed ‘Make in India – MRO makes it happen’ is inspired by the ‘Make in India” vision of Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi-led government at the centre. The Summit, featuring  high profile leaders of the industry, will be inaugurated by Dr. Subhash Bhamre, India’s Minister of State for Defence on January 18.

Dr. Dinesh Keskar, Senior Vice President, Boeing Commercial Airplanes will be delivering the Keynote address.

The ‘Make in India’ initiative has already captured the imagination of the country and the world at large. “The Aerospace & Defence MRO industry will be greatly benefited by the ‘Make in India’ initiative. “India is one of the economic power engines driving growth in South Asia region and I have no doubt that the Summit will go a long way in creating awareness amongst the prospective players within and outside the country”, the Hon’ble Minister said in his message.

Organised by STAT Times, the Summit will examine the opportunities in the country, following the number of initiatives undertaken by the Government of India, including the opening of Defence MRO for private public participation, to foster Aviation MRO industry. The summit will see a galaxy of best minds and resources participating in a two day conference.

Leadership round tables and panel discussions are on a variety of subject that matter to the Aerospace MRO industry.
