Group Captain P Aanand Naidu (Retd.) served in the IAF in various capacities for over two decades. He has taken very keen interest in Aviation Law from the time he has been an Air Traffic Controller and Rating Examiner in Indian Air Force.
He taught Air Traffic Management related ICAO Annexes and documents to ATCOs from the Air Force, Navy, Army, Coast Guard and about 15 foreign countries. He has conceptualized and executed Digital simulators project for ATC training. He was head of Paro International Airport operations and advised Royal Government of Bhutan on aviation matters for two years he has actively participated in creating JVs for international exercises with Air Forces of US, Singapore and France conducted by Indian Air Force. He was Member/ Secretary of project management group for runway relaying and Air Port Infra projects at two major airports.
As Director Personnel Airmen of Air Force, he played an important role in skill mapping, skill gradation and transition skill development for technical Airmen in collaboration with industry bodies. Presently, he is head of administration, PR & Publicity and legal matters of Doordarshan in Prasar Bharati. He has participated in many conferences and seminars on Copyrights and Aviation Laws.
He is associated as Honorary Member Advisory Board, MRO Business Today, Member of Aeronautical Society of India, Bar Council of Delhi and Broadcast Engineers Society of India.
Group Captain holds a diploma in Engineering, a degree in Law and is Gold Medalist in PG Diploma in Aviation Laws and Air Transportation Management from NALSAR University and has been a guest faculty for Aviation Law courses
