Mr. Arun Kashyap is an aviator by professional with 20 years aviation experience. He has completed basic course in aircraft maintenance from School of aviation science and Technology, Delhi in 1997. Heholds an Aircraft maintenance engineers’ licence in Avionics streamon Boeing 737 Classic, Boeing 737 NG, Boeing 777, Airbus 330, Airbus 340, trainer aircraft Cessna A-152, King Air C-90, ATR 72-500, He has acquired management qualification Masters in Air Transport management in year 2012 from City University UK.
He has worked in different airlines at various positions in engineering and Maintenance division in past 20 years. He hasserved different positions in prestigious airlines - Jet airways, Flydubai, Oman Air and Spicejet during his tenure. He has been in management positions in different airlines. He is currently engaged with Spicejet as Executive Vice President and Head of Engineering and maintenance. Spicejet airline is low cost airline in India with a fleet of55 Boeing 737-800 and Q400 aircraft. As head of Engineering and maintenance, He is responsible for Airworthiness, safety, quality, On time performance and budget of engineering devision. Hehas been part of start- up team at Flydubai airline in 2009 and core team involved in turnaround of Spicejet airline in 2014.
